About The Author
Terri Nixon is an author of historical fiction, family sagas, and mythic fiction
R.D. Nixon is the side of her that argues a lot, and writes crime / thrillers
She was born in Plymouth. At the age of 9 she moved with her family to Cornwall, to a small village on the edge of Bodmin Moor, where she discovered a love of writing that has stayed with her ever since. She also discovered apple-scrumping, and how to jump out of a hayloft without breaking any bones, but no-one's ever offered to pay her for doing those.
She now lives in Plymouth, and works in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business at Plymouth University, where she is constantly baffled by the number of students who don't possess pens.

A Word from the Author re: The Oaklands Manor Trilogy:
"I have had the rights to two of my books reverted to me by HarperCollins, so they will not show as being on sale for a little while. These are books 2 and 3 in The Oaklands Manor Trilogy:
Evie's Choice (formerly known as A Rose in Flanders Fields) and
Kitty's War (formerly known as Daughter of Dark River Farm.)
The large print and audio versions of these books are still available, and under their original titles, as they are published elsewhere.
I hope this is the first step in giving these two books (which I love) the attention and visibility I feel they deserve." Terri Nixon.
**NEW PUBLISHING CONTRACT FOR TERRI NIXON**
Terri has signed a deal with Piatkus, publishers of her previous family sagas, to write three books, with at least one of them featuring some of the characters first met in the Fox Bay Saga.
This series will merge the Penhaligon series with Fox Bay, in a brand new adventure based on a developing area of moorland above Caernoweth. Pencarrack is a village which has sprung up, in post-war years, from the run-down row of miners’ and quarrymen’s cottages known in The Penhaligon Saga as Furzy Row. Readers of The Penhaligon Saga will recognise the village name as the same as that of the big manor house in that series; home of the wealthy Batten family. As that family are the ones who developed Furzy Row, the village has become an extension of their lands and has adopted the same name as their home.
Characters from both series (as well as links to moorland village Lynher Mill) will be featured, as well as a whole cast of new ones.
